Has been Director of Public Policy for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean for Uber, Chief lobbyist for COPARMEX, and has held different positions in the Mexican Federal Government, including Strategic Advisor to the Secretary of Public Administration. Juan Mauricio has also held important position’s at Partido Acción Nacional, including National Secretary of Civic Outreach at PAN’s National Committee. Juan Mauricio holds an MPP from the University of Chicago, MSc in Democracy and Democratization from University College London, and a BA in Law from ITAM.
Has been Managing Partner for Mexico and Latin America of GSV Equity, Project Coordinator of the Federal Agency for Trade and Investment (PROMEXICO), Private Secretary of the Governor of the State of Sonora. He holds a Masters of Business Administration from the W.P. CAREY School of Business of Arizona State University, a Mayor in Finance from the Tec de Monterrey in Mexico.
Has been twice a candidate for the House of Representatives, to the federal Congress in 2015 and to Durango State legislature in 2018, nominated by Partido Revolucionario Institucional. Previously he was federal delegate in Durango of INFONAVIT; Chief of Staff to the Undersecretary of Public Education; Political Attaché to the Mexican Embassy in Chile and Private Secretary to the President of the Tax and Finance Commitee of the Federal Congress.
Martin holds a Msc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science of UK, a Masters in Legal Argumentation from the University of Alicante, Spain, and a BA in Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho. Currently he is studying a PHD in Jurisprudence at the University of Chile. He has been adjunct professor in Philosophy of Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho, and translator of the Book “Global Justice and Avant Garde Political Agency” by Dr. Lea Ypi from the London School and Economics and Political Science.
He is a columnist in the newspaper La Razón, and in Periódico Victoria de Durango and contributes to the blog of Nexos magazine, in legal, political and cultural issues.
Lizette has held several positions in the Ministry of Finance (2016-2018). She was part of the Banking, Securities and Savings Unit, where she had a lead role in the drafting of the FinTech Law. Later, she acted as Legal Counsel at the Investment Banking Department within the Public Credit Unit, and as Chief of Staff for the Undersecretary for Revenues.
Ms. Neme attended the Escuela Libre de Derecho, where she graduated as an Attorney-in-Law in June 2007, and King’s College London, University of London, where she obtained an LLM degree in International Finance Law in 2010.
