
Founder and Managing Partner, has led the design and implementation of major federal and local reforms that have shaped and accelerated the development of Mexico’s technological ecosystem, from the 2018 Fintech Law to recent efforts to develop Mexico’s national AI strategy.
Before founding InStrag, he served as Director of Public Policy for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean at Uber, acted as Chief Lobbyist for COPARMEX, and held different positions within the Mexican government.
He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, a Master of Science in Democracy and Democratization from University College London, and a Law degree from ITAM.
He is currently an honorary member of the Advisory Council of the Mexico Program at the Inter-American Dialogue and member of the FIPRA Network Advisory Board.
